Interview Summary

Kentucky author Silas House reflects on the impact the Frontier Nursing Service and midwife Betty Lester had--and still has--on his family. He also discusses the history of the FNS and how he came to consult with BBC writer and creator of "Call The Midwife," Heidi Thomas, on a similar television program based on the FNS.
