Interview Summary

In this interview, Judith Moffett discusses her experiences as a graduate student and teaching assistant at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She describes going to University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin and attending a poetry class taught by James Merrill, where they began a lifelong correspondence and friendship. In addition, Moffett talks about her Fulbright teaching position at the University of Lund in Sweden, returning the United States, and completing her studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a MA and PhD.
